---The night was simply a Thriller. Whether you are a Michael Jackson fan or not, Friday night’s Who’s Bad, the Ultimate Michael Jackson Tribute Band concert at the Riviera Theatre was just spectacular, and had something for everyone; if you weren’t there, you missed a good one. For two hours attendees, some MJ wannabes and dress-alikes ranging in age from 6 to 76 were treated to an energy-filled theatre with great MJ music, dance moves, lighting, audience hand-clapping-standing-dancing participation, from nine performers who rocked the Riv, which included not one but two highly polished MJ impersonators. The night was a metaphor for the universality of music and how it can cut across age, gender and race lines to bring people together in harmony of purpose, in this case to honor a music legend. Thanks, Riv staff, for giving our NT community the opportunity for just a few hours to escape world turmoil and "moonwalk” with some tunes which transported each of us to another space. The way you made us feel, we did not want to beat it.
