With New Year’s Eve closing in fast, NOW is the time to get those party plans locked in. This year, Chicagoans have the chance to see The Ultimate Michael Jackson Tribute on New Year’s Eve. Who’s Bad will wrap up another great year of sharing Michael Jackson’s music and keeping his spirit alive through their highly acclaimed live performances with their New Year’s Eve show at The Westin Chicago North Shore.
The show is a more affordable option than most of the other parties and events in town that evening; plus it’s the only place in the U.S. for partiers to get down to a live performance of Jackson’s music. This show also appeals to those in Chicago who want a safer option than the raucous club scene that is known for being over-the-top. Plus fans can book a room for a reduced rate along with their ticket for the perfectly-planned New Year’s Eve.
Starting this week Who’s Bad will also begin a new promotion on Twitter. The band has several prize packs to give away to lucky fans through their Twitter feed. The packs consist of a limited edition Who’s Bad t-shirt and their European tour DVD – a value of nearly $40. All fans have to do to try to snag one of these prize packs is follow @whosbadmusic, if they aren’t yet, and retweet about the New Year’s Eve show. Who's Bad will also reveal a significant new feature to their website in early 2012. The Who’s Bad Jacksonology web portal will contain a comprehensive overview of Michael Jackson’s life and work. It is a retrospective piece that Who’s Bad has spent over a year assembling, which aims to be a place that Michael Jackson fans and lovers of his music can comb through and learn more about his vast works, his life and his family. An exact launch date has not yet been announced, but look for more details about Jacksonology in early 2012.
Who's Bad is also excited to have recently released a brand new promotional video. The band duly notes that a video of this caliber has been a long-needed thing, sought after by fans and media alike that haven't had the fortune to see Who's Bad's live show yet, but want to get a taste of what all the excitement is about.
