Welcome to our wall. Feel free to comment on a show you’ve seen, or just say hi!

Saw the show on June 22 at the San Diego County Fair. It was truly amazing! I grew up with Michael’s music and yet never got the chance to experience him in concert. This was the next best thing to actually seeing him live. I felt like a teenager again. I am 43 years old. My 17 year old nephew who is also a huge MJ fan was also there and he loved it.

Excellent show at Valley Forge! Fans on stage had the time of their lives. Very well done. Entire family had a great time!

When you guy’s come back to Dallas

I have seen the show twice and will see it again and again. James is excellent, he is a talented and professional performer. He embodies the spirit, perfection of craft and passion of Michael Jackson. Great show!

Reply

Just saw your show in Niagara Falls, NY. I’m a lifelong MJ fan. I’ve seen quite a few “in memory” tribute shows since he passed. None of them have had me in awe the way you guys did tonight. Absolutely incredible. Thank you for a night I’ll truly never forget.

Reply

What a great night my wife and I had – meeting everyone in the band was a pleasure. Each one of you deserve recognition for your God given talents- Archie, Quinton, Lynn, Aaron, Malcolm, Dan, & JC – day after day, night after night you travel & perform for fans across this country bringing the best tribute to the greatest entertainer of all time – thanks for your dedication – you guys are BAD!! Thank you also goes out to Denarius – it’s a lot of work doing what you do but when you love what you’re doing there’s no greater feeling. My lil brotherJames – I have always said that he was the greatest MJ performer I have ever seen – and I’ve seen many!!
James has perfected not only MJ’s dancing but also his singing and stage mannerism. His dedication and perfectionist personality show’s when he’s on stage. Now, I may be a bit bias but I know raw talent when I see it.
MJ would be proud! Thank you again guys for an awesome show – keep doing your thang! Oh, and if you need an extra hand out on the road – “I’ll Be There”. Stay safe – God bless you all!

Is James T performing in Niagara Falls on March 24th?

Yes! James is scheduled to perform for all the dates we have listed.

Saw the show last night in Wilmington NC. It was my 4th time seeing the show. The very 1st time where the main impersonator, James Times, was not present. There were 2 stand-in MJs that couldn’t dance there way out of middle school. Highly disappointed. The previous 3 times I saw the show he was present but would alternate with a stand-in that you couldn’t wait for to leave the stage. Listen WHO’S BAD….if you are gonna be a MJ tribute band….do it the right way! Do it as MJ who was a perfectionist would want it. The best performer THE ENTIRE SHOW! That’s J. Times. He’s the only MJ impersonator who should be on stage period. No one cares about whos the better singer…MJ was a great singer, but people cared more about his dancing. If you can’t dance, please stay far away from impersonating MJ! The best thing last night was the guy looking like a neo Anthony Hamilton performing Prince songs. He was great…and he’s not even part of the tribute band. Who’s Band will lose fans and patronage when they have these wack MJ stand-ins there performing. You doing too many shows if JT can’t perform them all. I want my $$$ back for last night.

Reply

I saw that show you are talking about and James Times was there. It was James Times and Jobel, along with the Prince tribute artist. Not sure what show you watched.

Reply

Jim…seen the show 4 times. Grew up in the 80s. Saw MJ perform live on Mowtown tribute early 80s when he did Billie Jean and the moonwalk. Been a big fan of MJ. Whole family is. I think with all that said and having seen the show 4 times, I’d know James T when I’d see him on stage performing. If he was there, it was late in the show since I left about half way through after seeing the other 2 guys and not James. You r playing yourself bro.

Reply

Hi Anthony! We just wanted to let you know that James Times did in fact perform at the Wilmington show, as did Joseph Bell. There were no other frontmen performing as MJ. Thanks for playing, and please keep it cordial on here. No need to express your anger at fellow fans of Michael Jackson. If you feel the need to do so, please do it elsewhere.

Reply

So it was only Jo Bell and a Prince performer for Wilmington NC? Hmm, wonder why James wasn’t there. He is VERY much needed. I agree that dancing is more important than singing if you’re tributing MJ. Jo Bell he tries, but yes a dancing MJ is what’s needed in a tribute show.

Just a heads up that this was the worst show my wife and I have ever seen at the Luhrs Center in PA.
The tall Michal Jackson seemed extremely out of it. He could not dance at all and how can anyone ever think to impersonate Michael Jackson and not be able to dance??? He also did not seem to be getting the audience into the show at all. My wife, daughter, and myself were hoping each time he came out that he would only be singing one song and would be leaving the stage quickly.
The shorter Michael Jackson could dance extremely well and his singing was OK. He should have done the whole show himself and it would have been better.
The arrangement was terrible. Every song was played at a quicker speed than the real version. It was hard to really get into the song because they were all played at a faster pace. My only guess would be you wanted to play many songs but I would suggest even playing less songs and playing them at the correct speed or even playing the same amount of songs and not playing the whole version but playing it correctly.
The only person in the band that seemed to be into the performance was the saxophone player. The others seemed to be going thru the motion.
Lastly, this is the only show I have ever been to in my life that each band member was recognized by name several times throughout the show. It has always been one time at the end of the show for all the others. It got to the point of being annoying.
On the way out I heard and talked with several other folks that had the same feelings as I did about the show.

Reply

Oh wow! Really? Every time i’ve seen them they’ve been good!

Reply

Yes really….the guy above is correct. I’ve seen the show 4 different times but the last time experienced 2 stand-in Michael Jacksons. They both could not dance even half as good as MJ. The original guy was not there and it sucked big time. Last time I’ll see them w/o knowing for sure if the main impersonator is there. Amanda, maybe you are too young to be familiar with the real MJ to understand that no way you can half-ass his performances to be great. I grew up in that era so my expectations are very high. Only the main guy comes even close.

Reply

You are a troll and a douchebag… just because she is young her opinion is invalid?

Reply

VOR…or whoever you are, you sound like your feelings are hurt. A troll? But yet you r up here trolling me? Listen dude…go sit on an egg and rotate. I say what the bleep I want to say. If you don’t like it, then YOU go read something else. Furthermore, did I SAY her opinion didn’t matter?? I stated an opinion of my own. But yes, age CAN ACTUALLY mean something in your evaluation and impression of something, duh. But someone that grew up in the MJ era, with good common sense would know what I meant by my statement. Of course I do not know her age dimwit, which is why I said MAYBE. My opinion. Don’t like it?? So what.

Will you guys be playing at the Maryland theater in Hagerstown MD. any time soon? I missed the show in Shippensburg. PA…….so disappointed!

WHY DONT YOU GUYS COME TO PHILADELPHIA???????????
My girlfriend just got me tickets to you guys show on the 10th in Shippingsburg PA, which I was VERY excited about… But, me not being a driver, I have no way to get out there, even if I used Harrisburg or Lancaster as a half way point, I still wouldn’t have a way to get to Shippingsburg from the half way spot! I’m sorry I can’t make it to the show, but do me a favor, if you guys EVER plan a show in Philadelphia, E-MAIL ME ASAP!!!! PLEASE!!!!! PLEASE!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!

Reply

Since you seem to be staying away from our area for a while (Northwest Indiana/Chicago) we are coming to you! Just got tickets to your Columbus, OH show on 2/25. It’s 4.5 hours away. My two boys (11 and 9) are excited to see James perform for the first time! Look for us front and center!

Reply

Jim, thanks for being a real fan! We know it’s a while from now, but please let us know what you think of the show. We’ll also be back in Chicago this summer, most likely.

Reply

Thanks! We’ve seen you all 9 times now, but the boys haven’t seen James yet. We saw James in Chicago at the HoB in November and he was GREAT, wonderful addition to an awesome band! Thanks for the reply.

Just got home from your show tonight and it was awesome. I checked your schedule and you are not performing any where else in Texas. You guys have to come back. It was amazing. I am a BIG Michael Jackson fan and I had a blast tonight. I hope you can perform in Texas again soon. I will tell all my family and friends to come see you guys. I had no idea that it would be that great. I went to Michael Jackson’s concert Bad when he came to Houston. This brought back those memories. I met him in person and had my picture taken with him. He is looking down on you guys because you did an excellent job. I have seen many impersonators of this man but you guys were the best. Please come back to Texas

Hello!
Is it appropriate for a 9 and 11 year old? They love MJ but not sure if it is kid friendly?
If so I will get tickets for Christmas–the NH show in Jan.

Yes! The show is always family friendly. The only limiting factor is whether the venue allows all ages. Hope to see you there!

Also, is there somewhere to buy WHO’S BAD merchandise? Thanks again for an awesome night last night in Waynesboro, Virginia!!!!!!!

I really enjoyed the show in Boulder, Co on September the 22nd. I’ve been trying to find the name of the gentlemen that preformed the Prince songs. He was fantastic but no one seems to know who he is and I would like to see if he has any of his performances online.

Reply

Thanks, Andrea! We always have a blast in Colorado. Hugh Swaso is our “Prince”. We’ll be posting some sweet video soon featuring him — stay tuned!

Attended the concert on October 8th at the Santander Performing Arts Center in Reading, PA, and was disappointed that Taalib York was not there to perform as well. I like Joe Bell, but missed seeing Taalib do his MJ moves too! Great concert guys!

Reply

Me too! He’s taking a break. Hopefully he’ll be back at some point though.

Reply

Is there some way to contact the management company? I am an October ticket holder and have a question. There doesn’t seem to be a “Contact Us” option here

Went to the Jug Tavern Fest in Winder , Ga and as always the performance was great. After the show my daughter who is a huge MJ fan met the bass player Q. He was so friendly and very patient , he spoke with my daughter for several minutes which was great. Then something truly awesome happen he invited her to bring her bass to the next show so they could jam together ! The whole band hung around to chat and take pics with the fans , these guys are a total class act.

Reply

What is the bass player’s name ? My family and I will be attending this Friday’s show. My daughter is a bass payer and she’s a huge fan of the band she would like to make a little poster to show appreciation of his skills.

Amazing show at Uptown Theater tonight! Tribute to MJ and Prince……….unbelievable! Singers, dancers the band was spot on! The drummer………probably the best I’ve ever seen! I toured with Cyndi Lauper in the 80′s and I swear that drummer is incredible! WHO IS HE???? I’ll pay to see this show any time it’s in my area.

Reply

His name is Archie Logan

Reply

I heard so much about this show and finally had the opportunity to see the show at Club 930 on June 4th……WOWWWWWW!!!! The drummer killed it!!! He was fantastic!! Everyone was really dancing and grooving to the show but…. was waiting for the drummer to “GET SOME”!!! Would have loved more from him.

Reply

Saw you guys in Peoria on 5/14/16 – awesome! Great energy, love the dancing and the horns! Brought my young daughter – she loved it! Keep up the great work fellas!

Reply

You guys were out of this world performing at the house of blues in cleveland

Reply

Saw your show in Detroit. As a musician one thing I appreciate is being able to hear the music. My first problem is that the only person I could hear what they were doing is the drummer. So loud, too loud to hear anyone else. When the guitarist did his solo all you heard was drums. When the sax did his solo, drums. The singers, drums. Less is truly more. It is clear who does the best Michael. Come on Michael was unbelievable. Jobel, you just felt bad for him. Taalib was really good. Loved the song selection. I wish I could’ve heard the other musicians I know the’re really good.

Reply

The drums are a bit too loud. I noticed that too. They drown out everything else. What did you mean about JoBel? And yes Taalib’s dancing of Michael is really good. I enjoy seeing them, and hope to at least one more time this year.

Reply

All of you put on a HIGH OCTANE show from start to finish… one of the best concerts i’ve seen!!!! You’re talent is unbelievable… My girl Tish had a smile from start to finish!!!

SPECIAL REQUEST!!!

Hello Who’s Bad band!! I’m not sure if you can do this or not but I’m driving my wife to Ft. Lauderdale on Jan 9th, 2016 to see your show there….she is a HUGE Michael Jackson fan and it’s a surprise. If there is any way you can say “HAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY TO NATALIE” for me that would mean the world. I understand if you can’t, but it would be really really appreciated if you could say that.

thanks!!!!!

I just saw you at Maryland Live, Rams Head Live. I was pleasantly surprised at how great the show was. I was even more surprised at the diversity in the crowd, young and old. You kept my feet tapping the entire show. I grew up with Michael, Thriller was my very first album. Yes I just showed my age, I am speaking of vinyl. I am very happy I decided to come out to see you guys tonight. Next time you are in town I will have to bring my husband. Needless to say I brought my 21 year old daughter and she was just as in awe as I was. Thanks for the great entertainment.

Looking forward to seeing the band for the first time in GA in October and bringing my 7 year old son. Is there a song list showing all the songs they perform from which they pull the set list for individual shows? My son wants to learn some songs before the show and since MJ’s catalog is so expansive, I was hoping to introduce him to the songs the band might play that day for starters. Thanks!

Reply

Well I can tell you some of the songs they play based on when I saw them. It’s not exactly in order but these are the songs I remember from off top JAM!, Wanna Be Startin’ Something, Rock With You, Love Never Felt So Good, Smooth Criminal, Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough, The Way You Make Me Feel, P.Y.T.,Jackson 5 Medley, Man In The Mirror, BILLIE JEAN!,Beat It, Thriller, Bad, Black Or White, Off The Wall, and probably a couple more I can’t remember, but those are usually what they played when I saw them and I’ve seen them 4 times. Give or take a few.

Reply

You’re welcome! Hope you and your son enjoy the show. I know i enjoy there show. Yes, it’s not exactly Michael, but it’s fun for people that never got to see him live, they do a nice job in my opinion. I think Michael would’ve loved them!

PLEASE – come back to Denver – I need my yearly dose of Michael.
It keeps me in the right frame of mind and my family safe! So you see it is a public service thing you do…WE ALL NEED MICHAEL! Every show that I have been to – ALL – of you are so impressive! I now have two of my girlfriends hooked on you, so you just have to come back. Please, do not leaving us hanging. The last time in Brighton Colorado, we had a mentally challenged young man in front of us and each of you made a point to play to him – that is something that Michael really would have done. You have captured his heart and soul – the music and dancing is unbelievable! Please, do not leave us without our Michael fix!

It was my wife’s birthday and since we both love Michael so I booked you guys in February to see you on May 09 in Winnipeg and we enjoyed your band so very much. You made everyone feel Michael once more. Thank you so much for taking many hours in perfecting your stage. Suggestion about your site and that is to have some items that you would sell and on stage those items would be auction. On behalf of my wife and I “we love you guys”. Winnipeg, MB, Canada

Hi Taalib and Joe,

This is Shaye from ShayeBPromotions and Entertainment. I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the get well wishes video you sent via my sister Vicki and niece Sarah after your performance last night in Hopewell, Virginia. I was regretful I missed your show at the Beacon theater after looking forward to it for weeks. It was especially difficult as I was only one half mile away from the theater at the local hospital in Hopewell. I know MJ was smiling down upon you and always will be in both of your careers. I sincerely appreciate your kind, thoughtful efforts to bring a smile to my heart. I look forward to the opportunity to meet and thank both of you in person, Until then, May God continue to bless you in your future endeavors.

The show last night in Norwood, MA was so much fun and an amazing performance. The band was on point and looked like they were having fun up there! Both Michaels were excellent singers, dancers and all around performers. It was easy to imagine the real MJ on stage! It truly is a tribute to the King of Pop. What a great way to carry on his music and give new generations a chance to enjoy Michael Jackson that we grew up with. Thank you and come back to Boston soon!

Totally enjoyed the show last night in Norwood, MA. A last minute decision for me to attend, so happy I did. Great energy, really managed to capture the man, the legend, that was Michael Jackson, in my opinion. Band was fabulous, entertaining. Your ability to engage the audience was awesome; for those of us who never got to a MJ concert and those who of course will never even have an opportunity, this is a wonderful tribute to him. You all have so much talent. Come back soon, we loved you!

Hi. I saw your show in Ft Myers and loved it. I never saw so many people dancing out of a theatre. You should try to book Shea’s Theatre in Buffalo…great venue that holds 2500 – 3000. It would be a huge success. If I had one criticism of the show it would be the number of times you introduced the band to the audience. Would rather other banter if possible. Loved the videos of Michael…really brings the nostalgia together.

Great job and wish you much continued success!

I went to your show at the Egyptian in Park City Saturday night and I absolutely loved it! I also went to see you in March 2013 when you came to Park City. Both shows I had the opportunity to dance on stage with JoBel, but it was this last show on the 27th that I had the pleasure of meeting him and Taalib. I briefly shook hands with Taalib but I had a really nice talk with JoBel. I told him that Michael is my biggest inspiration and that I love what he’s doing to keep the spirit of the King of Pop alive, because he is so talented. He thanked me and told me I was so kind for saying so in a warm hug. Just before I left I said I loved him/them and he said “I love you more”, just as Michael would say :)
You guys are the real deal and you give me the opportunity to see Michael in concert, because you’re as close as it gets. Between Jobel & Taalib’s extreme talent and Michael-like kindness & love, you bring the King to life. I can’t thank you enough for this show and it was such a pleasure to meet both of you. I love you, and I’ll be back to see you next time you’re in Utah :) <3

Hi guys,
I was there all day and night seen the 3 pm show and the 8 pm show in Sellersville Pa . You guys are totally fantastic. Today Nov 1 Sat 2014 was the best day of my life. You were so kind to let me have a picture with both of the Michaels tonight. You made history with me because I said to myself that I wasn’t going to let negative people put me down. Tonight gave me the courage to pursue my dreams of being a poet and a writer and dreams come true. I was so happy that I got to see you. God bless always I’ll keep you in prayers for safe travel and be safe. I will tell everyone about you guys and put you on my Facebbook as the Baddest Band in town. Keep me posted on what’s up with you.

My first time seeing you all perform was back in May 2013 and I’ve seen the show 5 times since then and always walk away from the venue amazed. The love and respect you guys have for MJ is so touching to see. Also love how you guys put your own spin and interpretations on MJ’s songs, dance and embody so much energy. Coming to see you all when you’re in NYC has become a highly anticipated event for the NYC MJ fam. Any show you all do here, I’ll be there! Thank you all for your love and dedication to the man that we love and miss so deeply. Blessings!

I finally got to see you guys recently at Lodo’s bar and grill in Westminster, Co, a few days before another surgery I had. You guys gave me the strength to make it through the surgery and healing. The show is great, Taalib has a way of making you feel special, and the rest of the gang..you just rock. I got picked to come up on stage (even though I dont dance well lol) and I got hugs, and just to be up there was electric. I couldn’t believe Taalib would even pick me.. Great job keeping Michael’s loving legacy alive, you all do such a great job, and your daily posts, trivia, photos, always make my day a little brighter. Love you all, can’t wait to see you again!

My friend and I saw you guys for the first time on Sept. 27 at the Cat’s Cradle in Carrboro NC. It was so awesome and so much fun! I know you guys do play there often, which is good. I was hoping that you guys would play Dirty Diana since that was one of the songs that was mentioned and one of my most favorite MJ songs. I don’t know if that is a song that Taalib usually does, but i hope he will. He would definitely put the hot grooves into that song! Please come back soon!

Hi. I’m a big michael jackson fan and I love how you all started a group.. that’s amazing man. See me personally, I like the music and sounds as well as him because he is a inspiration to everyone, but my generation seems to not get the pic and style of his music. See I’m 19 In college and hopefully one day try to have a career in the music industry period. I love music I’m a old school person lol so you all know how i get down to the boogie…… And also maybe be in a big group, but I have to practice my vocals first lol… but I’m a great dancer, of course michael moves I can do too. LOl I’m a little big, but I can move quick, just a little practice I’ll do just fine. Let me know if you all have auditions to join you all group… love to hang. Representing Cleveland,Ohio. Again RIP Mj.

Hey boyz!!!! Just dropping by to say hi!! New site looks great!! I hope you are all well and getting rest in between shows. I miss you all as always and look forward to the next time we see each other. Love you to the moon and back!!!!
For everyone else reading this – I have been following Who’s Bad now for, about 5 years, and I can tell you every show is always amazing and full of MJ energy. Taalib’s moves are remarkably close to MJs and he works hard to show you that. JoBel sings his azz off! The horns, Aaron and Ray, all I can say is they are full of energy and the show wouldn’t be the same without them!!! If you love MJ, you will love WB!!!

Reply

Thoroughly enjoyed the show last night at Infinity Hall Hartford!!! Everyone was amazing! We danced and sang along all night! It was high energy right from the beginning straight to the end. This show is highly recommended and extremely entertaining!! Keep on with the force – Don’t stop ’til you get enough!!

Before I fell in love you guys, I snubbed impersonators. But Taalib and the rest of the band changed my mind the MOMENT the music started. I have never been treated the experience you guys provide. True musicians combined with a front man who literally channels Michael’s energy and yet interprets in his own way to create a unique onstage persona that stays true to his idol and to himself. Please come back to NYC more often!
